Ion's Modern and Sci-Fi Homebrew Mishmash
Automatic Skills (Ex): A ghoul paragon automatically gains a number of skill ranks in the skills chosen for his Breadth of experience racial trait equal to his class level. In essence he gains 2 extra skill points per level that he can only spend on these two skills.
A ghoul paragon without the breadth of experience racial trait instead gains an additional skill point each level as the Skilled human racial trait.
Ghoulish Feats (Ex): Ghoul Paragons receive a bonus feat at 3rd level and every 3 levels thereafter. These bonus feats must either be racial feats, skill feats, or general feats, and the ghoul paragon must be able to meet all of the prerequisites.
Ghoul Toughness (Ex): At 5th level the ghoul paragon gains a natural Defense bonus of +1. Every four levels thereafter (9th, 14th, and 17th), her natural Defense bonus increases by +1, to a maximum of +4.
Radiation Resistance (Ex): Starting at 5th level a ghoul paragon can treat the local radiation levels as one lower for the purpose of how much Int and Wis drain she suffers and for the the DC to avoid such drain. Starting at 10th level she can treat the radiation level as two levels lower. Starting at 15th level she can treat the radiation level as three levels lower. And at 20th level she stops taking drain altogether in zones of Radiation.
Feral Resistance (Ex): For every character level she possesses, a ghoul paragon adds 10 years to her maximum age she can reach before becoming feral.
Feral Empathy (Ex): A ghoul paragon can improve the attitude of a feral ghoul. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The paragon rolls 1d20 and adds her character level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result.
The typical feral ghoul has a starting attitude of indifferent towards ghoul paragons and unfriendly towards other ghouls.
To use feral empathy, the paragon and the feral must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing a feral in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
