Weapon Proficiency: A samurai receives martial proficiency in heavy blades, polearms, and bows.

Horse Master (Ex): The samurai adds half his class level (minimum 1) to all ride checks.

Enforcer Training (Ex): Half of a samurai’s levels in classes other than enforcer count as enforcer levels for the purpose of qualifying for feats.

Bonus Feats: As a samurai advances in level, he gains a number of bonus feats. He gains his first feat at 3rd level, and gains additional feats at 7th, 11th, 15th, and 19th level. These bonus feats must be either combat, critical, or grit feats.

Samurai Talents: As a samurai advances in level, he gains samurai talents selected from the list below. He gains his first samurai talent at 5th level, and gains additional samurai talents at 9th, 13th, and 17th level. Also, whenever a samurai gains a talent choice from his base class, he can choose one of these samurai talents instead.

Cavalryman (Ex): The samurai gains the service of a loyal and trusty steed to carry him into battle. This mount functions as a druid’s animal companion, using the samurai’s level as his effective druid level.

At 5th level he is limited to a Horse companion, but starting at 7th level he adds Bighorner, Radstag, Mantis, Radscorpion, and Lynx/Bobcat to his list of available animals.

Should a samurai’s mount die, the samurai may find another mount to serve him by spending 24 hours interacting with an suitable animal whose disposition is Friendly or Helpful. At the end of the 24 hour period the animal accepts the samurai as its new master.

Master Swordsman (Ex): The samurai gains all 1st level swashbuckler deeds, as well as a daily pool of panache points equal to his Wisdom or Charisma modifier (once chosen this cannot be changed). This panache cannot be restored by any means other than a full night’s sleep. Additionally, a samurai may use swashbuckler deeds with any heavy blade or polearm, and is never prevented from using deeds if her off-hand is holding a weapon or is otherwise occupied.

Swashbuckler Deed(Ex): The samurai learns one swashbuckler deed for which she is high enough level to know. The samurai must have the master swordsman talent to learn this talent.

Way of the Warrior (Ex): The samurai gains exotic proficiency in either all heavy blades, all polearms, or all bows. This talent can be taken multiple times, and each time it applies to a different set of weapons.
